Absolutely. The trick is to get it in front of an air-source, such as a vent. The negative-ion generation works well, but for best results it should be in front of an air-source. For example, I have this unit you see in the video sitting on my desk at work, but it is placed in front of the exhaust of a small Oreck air purifier. As the ions are generated, the Oreck is producing a small flow of air pushing the generated ions from the unit past my face and across my desk.
